About the Practitioner

My name is Elizabeth Picot and I have been practicing massage therapy since 2006. After graduating from the Gloucester County School of Massage, I started my career working in a private practice, where I continued my passion for helping people ease the stress, pain, and discomforts in their bodies.  I realized the great value and reward in what I was able to offer people, and I knew that this was the field where I belonged.

In 2008, I began teaching massage at the school that I graduated from.  Not only was I able to continue helping clients in my private practice, I also was able to help people discover their passion for therapeutic touch.  I taught at the Gloucester County School of Massage for two years, when sadly, they closed their doors in 2010.

Fortunately for me, another teaching opportunity opened up at Rizzieri Aveda School of Massage.  I began teaching there in 2011, and continue to teach all aspects of the curriculum. As of 2019, the school changed ownership, and its name to Center for the Healing Arts. Since I started teaching massage I have trained over 120 massage therapists, a majority of whom went on to have successful careers in the massage field.

In addition to teaching massage part-time, and running a small massage practice, I have a full time job of being a wife and mother, raising two young children.  I am extremely blessed to have been at home with my children as they were growing, and have the flexibility to work in the rewarding field of massage therapy.  Let the adventure continue...
