Updates to Policies and Procedures regarding COVID-19
Pre-session and Health Intake Updates:
►Temperature checks will be taken and recorded upon arrival to your appointment.
►Be advised that you will be required to fill out a COVID Health Information Form and Informed Consent with each visit.
►Clients will be asked to wash hands/use hand sanitizer before their session.
►Cancellation Policy- Amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, the cancellation policy has been modified to offer greater flexibility to my clients. I hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, I understand and request for you to please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations at this time.
During the session:
►Masks must be worn at all times by both the client and practitioner. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided to you. Prone (face-down) positions could be uncomfortable for clients who are wearing face coverings. The face cradle cover will be draped so that it creates a contained hammock under the face cradle that could semi-effectively capture aerosols expelled by a client who is unable to comfortably wear a face covering during face-down positioning. When switching to a supine (face-up) position, the client is to put their face covering on before they turn over.
►Massage to the face will not be done at this time. If the client is comfortable with it, massage to the scalp and temporal area is acceptable.
Post-session Sanitation:
►All surfaces (doorknobs, toilet handles, sink areas, light switches, etc.), point-of-sale equipment, and any surface touched by the client or therapist during a session will be wiped/sprayed between clients.
►All linens will be changed for each client and will be appropriately laundered before being used again.
